『明滅と反響』と『これが現実だ』の間の時期に書いては消えていった曲の一つ。身近な出来事（大抵は早く忘れたくなるような事）がアイディアの発端になることが多いが、この曲は特に、僕の身に起きた不愉快な事件を題材にしており、書いたことを後悔している数少ない曲の一つだ。yumboでは2回しか演奏していないが、16分音符がマッチ棒みたいに並ぶ気味の悪いアレンジが正気とは思えず、聴き返してもいないし、コード進行を書いた楽譜も捨ててしまった。

Not as endearingly loose and shaggy as yumbo, but more than makes up for it being an excellent pop album. It's currently a tossup between "A Weak Man" and "Lesser-Known Artists" as my favourite track. plescanfan
