ライブ初演は2009年2月28日、仙台 Club Junkbox。確か、そのライブの一ヶ月前に、火星の庭で濱田多聞さんと僕の二人で演ったライブのために書いたのだと思う。そのライブはお互いの曲をベーシストとしてサポートするという画期的な２マンで、濱田さんのベーシストとしてのセンスを買って、このような曲を書いたのだろう。観念的な歌詞をtdsgk君が見事に英訳してくれたが、yumbo向きの曲ではなかったのかもしれない。プレハブ食堂で演奏した時は、曲の最後に会場内の仮設トイレの水を流す音を高柳がマイクで拾っている。

Lazy like a train.
I’m lying on the rail,
Lying on the cold rail,
And singing.

Bitter like someone’s clinging.
I’m digging the frozen ground,
But don’t mind if it takes all night.

I’ll poke the unearthed nuclear bomb
With the tip of the shovel.

列車のように怠惰
わたしは線路に寝そべっている
冷たい線路に横たわり　歌っている

今日の音は
誰かの執着のように苦い
わたしは凍った土を掘っている
一晩かかっても構わない

やがて朝が来れば
わたしの取り分は残っていないことが分かる
出土した核爆弾を
シャベルの先でつつくばかり

きっと伝言ゲームの途中で
誰かが物語を語り間違ったんだ
それでも　わたしはあなたの家の裏口で

魚のように川を遡る
半径１mの円の中で
