これは「ケーキ」「美しい道」の仲間だけど、なるべく厭世的にならないように苦心して書いた憶えがある。
最近、寺尾紗穂さんが冬にわかれてというバンドをやっているけど、この曲はまさに、冬にわかれるとはどういうものかを寝ずに考えて書いたものである。
グレープフルーツムーンでのライブの翌日に沖縄へ行き、2日間のライブを敢行したが、これはその2日目、浦添GROOVEでの録音。
企画者でもあった津ヶ谷小百合さん、杉枝里奈さん、そして和田充弘さんにホーンでサポートしてもらっているが、現地の会ったばかりのミュージシャン達と演奏するのがひどく贅沢な事に思えた。
GROOVEも素晴らしい会場だったし、思い出深いライブだ。

Not as endearingly loose and shaggy as yumbo, but more than makes up for it being an excellent pop album. It's currently a tossup between "A Weak Man" and "Lesser-Known Artists" as my favourite track. plescanfan
